Senior Account Manager

Seoul, South Korea

As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing strategic PR and Communications campaigns for our consumer technology client, for a gloabl audience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies, building strong client relationships, and leading a team to achieve campaign objectives. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker who enjoys working with and supporting clients in a fast paced environement. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned consumer technology clients, understanding their business goals and providing strategic counsel to exceed their expectations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns tailored to client objectives, market trends, and audience insights in the technology sector.
  • Manage and mentor a team of account executives and junior staff, providing guidance on project execution, media relations, and best practices in PR.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, and media outlets in the consumer technology space to secure positive media coverage and enhance client visibility.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality PR materials, including press releases, media kits, case studies, and pitch documents, ensuring alignment with client messaging
  • Monitor media coverage and campaign performance, analyzing results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets for client accounts, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Assist clients in managing communications during challenging situations, developing appropriate messaging and strategies to protect their reputation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the consumer technology industry to provide clients with informed counsel and innovative ideas.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of public relations experience, with a strong focus on consumer technology clients or industries, with agency experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns that drive results.
  • Excellent English and Korean writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Strong media relations skills and a robust network of contacts within the consumer technology sector
  • Relationships with Tier 1 media would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience of mentoring junior memebers of the team
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in PR tools and analytics platforms to measure campaign performance.
