Chinese Premier: Economic Growth to Slow Down to 8 Percent
China plans to gear down its economic growth to eight percent in 2007 from 10.7 percent in the previous year. These were the opening remarks made by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at the Fifth Session of the Tenth National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature on March 5, 2007.
