On Thursday October 12, senior vice president and director of media services in Chicago Michael Schifler, conducted an in-house media training session in the Beijing office. The training involved discussions on media-related topics, such as consumer marketing events and advertising.
David Bulman, associate at Weber Shandwick l Powell Tate commented on the session, “The training gave great insight into the differences between the Chinese and U.S. media, and the common ground and methods shared. It was particularly interesting to see how the US media landscape is changing and the role that new media plays in communications and how communications professionals can engage new media.”
